Pinwheels Dayz

Exchange Family Center’s Pinwheels Dayz brings together families, friends, and the greater community to generate awareness about the importance of supporting families and teachers to help children be resilient.

“When families spend time together, the interaction increases children’s social-emotional growth and strengthens family bonds,” says Rachel Galanter, Exchange Family Center Executive Director. “Pinwheels lets families come and play together to help build those strong bonds that support children’s ability to be resilient while also sharing information with the community about how we all can help children thrive now and as they grow.”

What’s Different This Year?

Pinwheels Dayz engages our community to support children and families in need while providing a family friendly environment. We want days full of child-friendly activities, games and fun while also providing resources families can access when they need them. All while keeping families safe and compliant with mandates regarding COVID-19.

Unlike previous years where we dedicated a whole day to bring families together, this year we will have an event every Saturday in the month of April for Child Abuse Awareness month!
