Because of last year’s donations, EFC was able to serve 454 caregivers and children. We crossed this threshold with your help, and we appreciate you. Because of you, we can provide consistent and stable family support services in the Durham community. This year we have planted strong roots for many children and families and at the end of this year, we humbly ask you to make and end of year gift to help us reach our goal of $16,750.

We’re excited at the opportunity to do more this year. Our foundation has never been more robust and we’re now looking to make a more impactful change to our community and families. We’re looking to build more protective factors, supports, and coping mechanisms for families to build stronger roots. Stronger roots, like a stable home foundation that includes education, coaching and mental support to help children grow tall branches. 

Growing tall branches means helping children reach their fullest potential. When we improve their social, emotional, and mental skills then we are setting up kids to succeed for the rest of their lives. With these new branches, our community grows like a healthy green forest, our community benefits when we nurture and help grow our children.
