Exchange Family Center (EFC) is recruiting new board members to engage in our mission to make children’s lives better by strengthening their families, teachers, and communities through proven counseling, coaching, and training.

What we’re looking for: Individuals willing to share their experiences and expertise. People aligned with and willing to support our vision, mission, goals and values. Diverse candidates are welcomed and encouraged.

What you’ll gain: Networking with like-minded people who care about helping Durham families and our community thrive. Hands-on professional development and leadership. Voice as a key stakeholder on what’s needed to make Durham children’s lives better.

EFC’s board is collectively accountable for the effective stewardship of our mission and resources. Every board member is expected to play an active role: contributing their knowledge, skills and time; participating on a board committee; attending meetings; and serving as an ambassador for the organization.
