Christmas Donations & Adopt-a-Family

2016.11 - Happy Holidays.png

Exchange Family Center partners with parents and teachers to help them build stronger relationships with the children in their care.  These relationships are the foundation of children building their ability to develop self-control, to successfully express their feelings, and to be resilient in the face of trauma and toxic stress.  For 25 years, we have been there to strengthen families and create happy childhoods.

Be a Holiday Helper

A Note from Rachel Galanter, Executive Director

I hope when you think about your own childhood, you have fond memories of your family’s winter holiday celebrations.  At EFC we want all the families we support to be able to create special memories of celebrating the season.  Yet, many of the families who work with EFC struggle financially - 47% of families who receive EFC’s in-home parenting coaching earn less than $25,000 annually - making the holidays stressful.  We are honored that families let us into their homes to help them learn new ways of responding to their children.  Will you help our financially distressed families by sharing with them at the holidays?

With your generosity, families can have a joyous holiday.  Thank you for spreading joy during this chilly time of year.

Year-round Opportunities

Supporting children is something we can and should do together — as a community. Volunteer assistance, financial support, and in-kind donations are all valuable. No gift of time or resources is too small.
