Donations

Monetary donations are always welcome. We are pleased to accept contributions from individuals or businesses. Your donation may be made in honor of or in memory of someone who is special to you. Please make your check out to Exchange Clubs' Family Center. Send your contribution to the Exchange Clubs’ Family Center at 3708 Lyckan Parkway, Suite 103, Durham, NC 27707. All contributions are tax deductible.

Student Interns:

The Exchange Clubs' Family Center accepts master's level interns in its Parenting of Adolescents Program and the Family Support Program. Positions are available for both clinical and administrative specializations.

Special Donations Needed:

Our Family Support Program would like to request donations of gently used toys that are appropriate for use in Parent-Child Interaction therapy.

These will be used by Family Support Specialists to encourage appropriate play between parents and children and provide a means to improved familial communication.

Appropriate toys are those that are creative and constructive, such as:

• Legos
• Blocks
• Play-Dough and accessories, cookie cutters are great!
• Pretend food and dishes
• Animal miniatures (farm animals, dinosaurs, safari animals etc.)
• Cars, trucks and trains (no train tracks, please)
• Art supplies (crayons, markers, construction paper, stickers, beads and string etc.)
• Mr. Potato Head

Toys that we are unable to use include:

• Sports equipment (balls, bats etc.)
• Figurines, dolls or stuffed animals
• Board games, playing cards
• Video games
• Costumes
